Our family programme

There is lots for families to do at the Old Royal Naval College (ORNC). We hold a variety of events throughout the year, from the Big Draw in October to archaeology workshops on the foreshore of the River Thames.

Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre

Start your visit at the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre. Find out about Greenwich’s amazing history – the displays are packed with games and puzzles, interactive models and dressing up costumes.

Family Events

We hold regular events for families throughout the year. Our Fun Family Fridays happen every Friday during the school holidays and involve an art or craft activity that looks at the site and its history in a creative and unusual way. Art Cart

Our Art Cart happens in the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre on the first Saturday of every month, and every Wednesday in the school holidays. We have art and craft activities, dressing up and Tudor games to play, just drop in any time 14.00 – 16.00. Check our events calendar for upcoming Art Cart sessions
