Help preserve the ORNC

Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the buildings of the ORNC have stood proudly on the bank of the Thames for over three centuries. With your help we can ensure that this iconic London heritage site is maintained as an inspiring and accessible resource for future generations.

The dedicated staff, volunteers and contractors of the Greenwich Foundation are responsible for preserving the heritage in our care; managing public access, visitor services and facilities; providing learning and community engagement; promoting the heritage to a wide audience; and securing the necessary resources and skills.

Your gift to the Greenwich Foundation helps us conserve the historic buildings and interiors of the ORNC, and support the development and delivery of a vibrant programme of cultural and artistic public events.

For example, keeping our roofs in a good condition will cost around £140,000 every year over the next ten years.
