By Docklands Light Railway (DLR)
The nearest Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to the ORNC is Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich. The ORNC is a five minute walk from the station.
The DLR provides public transport links from London Bank (Central, Northern and Waterloo and City lines), Monument (District and Circle line), Canary Wharf (Jubilee line), Tower Gateway, Lewisham, Stratford and Limehouse.

By London Underground
Take the Jubilee Line to Canary Wharf and change to the Docklands Light Railway.
You can also take the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich (the O2) and then take either bus 188 or 129 which stops on Romney Road.

By train
Mainline rail services run from Charing Cross, Waterloo East, Cannon Street, London Bridge and Dartford to Greenwich.
Greenwich station is located in Zone 2 and 3 and is a 12 minute walk away from the ORNC. Turn left when you leave Greenwich station to head for the town centre. You can also take the DLR from the station to Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich (see By DLR).

By river
Regular riverboat services leave from Westminster, Embankment and Tower Piers to Greenwich Pier. Thames Clipper run an express service (with discounted tickets for travelcard holders) every 20 minutes.
Greenwich Pier is located on the river, a two minute walk away from ORNC. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket booth outside the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre.

By bus
Buses 129, 177, 180, 188, 199, 286 and 386 pass near the ORNC.

By car
From the north use M25 via the A2 or M11/A12 Blackwall Tunnel.
Please note that there is limited parking in Greenwich, particularly at weekends. There are many alternative modes of public transport. Car parking is sited in Park Row (SE10 9NL) and Cutty Sark Gardens.
By bicycle
A dedicated cycle path through the ORNC runs right along the riverside. The cycle path runs from the Lewin Gate at Cutty Sark Gardens to the Trafalgar Gate at Park Row.
If you are cycling, please stay to the cycle path or dismount when journeying down the other paths and roadways to avoid collisions with pedestrians. There are cycle racks outside the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre and The Old Brewery.

By foot
The ORNC can be approached from Greenwich and Maze Hill stations, Greenwich and Cutty Sark DLR stations, Greenwich Pier or local bus stations on foot.
There are also many scenic walks that take you to and around Greenwich. Pick up a postcard in the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre exhibition which, highlight some of the best walks around the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site.
