Queen Mary Undercroft

The Queen Mary Undercroft is located beneath the Chapel. This elegant space, with its stone columns and wood flooring, was used as a dining area for over 640 Greenwich Pensioners in 18th century when the ORNC was the Royal Hospital for Seamen.

Today it is used by students from the University of Greenwich as a rather luxurious dining space during the day. In the evening it is transformed into a private hire venue. This is an ideal space for drinks receptions, presentations and exhibitions.
