An exhibition of local artists in the Visitor Centre. Brushstrokes, a community group of women artists, are joined by Gold Fusion Jewellery.

Brushstrokes artists Pamela Coppard, Jill Creed, Dot Garrett, Despina Hunt, Christine Voice and Doreen Wallbridge work in a variety of media. All work is original and for sale. They enjoy a challenge and have weekly topics and regular ‘set ups’ where they incorporate ink, wax, collage, fabric, paper, and natural materials using all types of implements knives, sponges and abstract techniques.

Brushstrokes are joined by Gareth of Gold Fusion Jewellery, who brings to this exhibition a unique range of pendants and cufflinks. Making jewellery since 2006, Gareth uses a Korean technique called ‘Keum boo’ (meaning ‘attached gold’), which involves bonding layers of 24k gold to the surface of silver, giving each piece of jewellery a totally unique look.

Free to visit. The exhibition is held in the upstairs gallery in the Visitor Centre. Plan your visit >
