What time is the Shop open?

On 1 December the Shop will be open from 10am until 7pm (usually open 10am-5pm). Drop in anytime during the day. 

The Painted Hall will be open 10am-5pm. Why not visit the Painted Hall and then join us in the Undercroft Café for festive treats before you shop? Book tickets to the Painted Hall.

The Café will be open until 7pm serving mince pies, turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches and our winter warmer offer: a seasonal soup and toastie. Hot and cold drinks will also be available including prosecco to toast the start of the festive season.

Where is the Shop?

We have two Shops. One is in the Visitor Centre. The Christmas Shopping event is in our Painted Hall Shop found in the Undercroft. 

What can I buy?

We have a wide range of gifts, books and souvenirs inspired by our magnificent art and architecture.

10% discount in the Shop for our Angels and Patrons across all products. 

Festive treats and tipples will be served in the Café.

Christmas Shopping Prize Draw

Enter our Christmas Shopping Prize Draw to win two free annual passes to the Painted Hall, giving you unlimited entry into the Painted Hall for a whole year. Enter the competition at the Painted Hall Shop when you make your purchase for a chance to win. One winner will be selected at random on 2 December and notified by email. 

What is Museum Store Sunday? 

Now in its third year, Museum Store Sunday is a special shopping experience with over 1,200 participating museum shops in 18 countries. This annual event and shopping campaign encourages museum visitors to consciously contribute to the future sustainability and success of each museum and cultural institution. All profits from the Old Royal Naval College Shop help us to maintain our magnificent buildings and enable the funding of our free events and learning projects.
