The fifth Greenwich Book Festival takes place from Thursday, 13 June to Sunday, 16 June for another year of exciting activities for book lovers of all ages, set on the beautiful riverside setting of the Old Royal Naval College.

For  the 2019 festival, we’ll be setting sail with Michael Palin, being cast under Cressida Cowell’s spell, exploring activism with Billy Bragg and Caroline Criado-Perez, talking about kindness with Axel Scheffler, showcasing the New Daughters of Africa anthology, welcoming English PEN, playing quidditch at the Harry Potter Party, hearing about Tracey Thorn’s suburban adolescence, paying tribute to the late Andrea Levy, revelling in Roald Dahl’s Rotsome and Repulsant words, listening to a poetry jukebox, learning Beano tricks and much more.
