The Old Royal Naval College has been home to the University of Greenwich since 1999, with over 10,000 students studying in Queen Anne, Queen Mary and King William Courts.

The University of Greenwich also has outstanding sites at Avery Hill, Stockwell Street and Medway. The Old Royal Naval College houses the University of Greenwich's Schools of Computing & Mathematical Sciences, Business, Humanities & Social Sciences and the Greenwich Maritime Institute.

The former Dreadnought Seaman’s Hospital was transformed into the university library. The library has an extensive collection of books and journals, and computing facilities. Specialist computing labs, a TV studio and editing suites are also on the site.

At the end of their studies, students can graduate in the Chapel and Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College.
