Clore Learning Centre Becomes a Showcase October 2015 | Fiona Karn-Smith The ORNC has been included in a showcase of Clore Learning Centres on the new "Space for Learning" website and in their latest publication, a dedicated resource for other museums, galleries and heritage sites who plan to design, fund, manage and develop learning spaces. As part of the development of the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre, our Clore Learning Centre was generously funded by the Clore Duffield Foundation and opened in 2010. Now we have, on average, 9,100 instances of participation in the Clore each year including school, family and community workshops. The adaptable space and its flexible use ensures that our programmes can continue to develop and reach new and diverse audiences. The Clore Duffield Foundation is a prestigious grant-making charity which supports a wide range of cultural learning and learning spaces. We are really proud to have been selected for inclusion, it’s a huge endorsement of our space and our learning programmes.
