Earlier this month, 30 projects across London were announced as winners of this year’s New London Architecture Awards, and among them, the Painted Hall project was announced as the ‘Unbuilt’ winner of the Conservation & Retrofit Award!

This comes as a great honour for the Old Royal Naval College and Hugh Broughton Architects, conservation partners on the Painted Hall project, who had some strong competition in this category; the Southbank Centre, Cambridge Hall and Academy House, to name a few.

Many congratulations also goes to Hackney Town Hall, who were the ‘Built’ winners in this category.

The evening, attended by the Old Royal Naval College’s Chief Executive Officer, Angela McConville, and Adam Knight from Hugh Broughton Architects, featured London Mayor, Sadiq Khan as their Keynote Speaker:

'Good to join over 700 of London’s leading design, planning and construction professionals today for the #NLAwards2018...' Sadiq Khan

The Old Royal Naval College are delighted to have received this incredible recognition and are thankful to all of those who made this possible!
