Thank you to all of you who entered our Hidden Details of the ORNC photography competition, we had an amazing response. We received over 140 individual entries and the standard was extremely high!

The competition’s aim was to encourage our visitors to engage with the ORNC through photography and discover new, unseen aspects of the site and its surroundings.

After being judged anonymously by members of the Aperture Woolwich Photography Society and the University of Greenwich Photography Society, the winners have been chosen!

The winners and runners up in each age category are:

 

Under 16

Winner: A year’s membership to the Aperture Woolwich Photographic Society Edmund Ault – Dolphin Fountain

Runners up: Stu Mayhew – Head Detail Christine Ongsiek – Figurine Detail Gavin Jackman – Pattern Stu Mayhew – Lead Pipe on Red Bricks

 

The images are displayed in the ongoing exhibition ‘Hidden Details of the ORNC’ in Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre along with a selection of other competition entries until 14 June 2015. The access is free.

All winners and runners up will also receive a pair of tickets to Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at Natural History Museum, and a printed book of the winning photographs.
