The grounds of the Old Royal Naval College offer stunning architecture and some of the best views in London. The extensive gardens follow the mid 19th century designs of Philip Hardwick and provide space for picnics and relaxation.

Grounds and Gardens - Water Gate
The Water Gate: Visitors in the nineteenth century were encouraged to arrive by river to enjoy this classic view.

The buildings were designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the 18th century and form one of the important ensembles in European baroque architecture. Today they are the centrepiece of Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site.
