The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich is looking for a full-time Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and implement the annual marketing plan and content for the Old Royal Naval College’s communications channels. We are one of London’s most popular visitor attractions at the heart of the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site welcoming 1.5m visitors annually.

The Marketing and Communications Manager is being recruited to develop and implement the marketing plan, external and internal communications plans and content for the Old Royal Naval College’s communications channels. S/he will drive sales, impact and engagement to target a range of audiences and reach agreed visitor and income targets.

This is a key management role within our Marketing and Commercial Enterprises Department which builds the Old Royal Naval College brand across the UK and internationally and grows commercial income from admissions, retail, catering, venue hire and commercial events. The post-holder has line management responsibility for the Marketing Officer.

The successful candidate will be dynamic, ambitious and inspired to shape and develop the organisation’s marketing and communication plans through a period of exciting transformation. S/he will drive a culture of creative communication to reach new audiences and to deepen our reach with existing supporters and contacts. S/he will act as the brand guardian for the organisation to ensure a polished and consistent presentation both internally and externally.
